With over 33 years in research animal care, Mike Bassett has held roles ranging from cage wash technician and surgical aide to research technician, facility designer, and manager of medium to large animal care teams. He spent 29 years managing the animal facility at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine and four years at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
A former member of the Mississippi Army National Guard, Mike served six years as a 13 Foxtrot Forward Observer. He lives in Starkville, MS, with his wife Becky and their two children, Hatcher and Presley.

Isaias has over a decade of experience in the laboratory animal science industry, holding several key roles across the Tecniplast Group. For 6 years, he has specialized as an ISCT engineer, leading the installation, start-up, commissioning, and operator training of Tecniplast/IWT systems—including washing, automation, decontamination, and aquatic technologies. Known for his technical expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to client success, Isaias helps facilities overcome operational challenges with tailored, practical solutions.
