We offer three options to meet your unique NHP housing needs—and each is customizable, of course:
- 10 sq.ft. apartment modules, designed for Primate Groups 5 and 6
- 15 sq.ft. apartment modules, designed for Primate Groups 5, 6, and 7
- 15 sq.ft. break-apart apartment modules, designed for Primate Groups 5, 6, and 7
What are the benefits of break-apart baboon apartment housing?
Due to the naturally hefty nature of Primate Groups 5-7 housing, it can be incredibly heavy, inconvenient and challenging to move. (This especially poses a challenge if you’re working in an older facility that’s lacking big doorways, or if you have a smaller team.)
Luckily, our break-apart baboon apartment modules are designed to split in two, creating a pair of fully mobile units you can easily maneuver down hallways, into sanitation areas, or anywhere else in your facility you need to go. We’ve even built in handy storage brackets on the sides, where you can drop in the drive shafts for safekeeping once you’ve split the baboon housing unit in two.

Easy to get in and out for cleaning and maintenance. The vertical sliding door makes it easy to transfer NHPs in and out, too.
FRUIT CHUTE FEEDER
Cleverly designed to operate like a book return for safe, easy introduction of food items.
RESTING BENCHES
NHPs love having an elevated surface to relax on, and this one comes right up to the fruit chute feeder.
THERMONEUTRAL FLOORING
Durable and sound-dampening thermoneutral surfaces help NHPs retain body heat, as well as reduce uncomfortable hot and cold spots.
